Not as good as previous breakdowns, but still entertaining.

Everyone in Atlanta is hot about this. Apparently Willson was disrespectful in the Atlanta media. Expect retaliatory action by the Braves today.

Yeah, I heard Braves color man Jeff Francoeur had some not-so-nice things to say about Willson, so I expect fireworks today.

Atlanta Braves. Forever being the Baseball Police.

They have been quite the apathetic fan base until recently. That said, they are very stacked roster & farm system

I remember a Cubs game early last season when the Braves had started hot but everyone was still skeptical. Quintana was pitching, and every ball off a Braves bat was a rocket. It was incredible to watch. I realized that the Braves were going to be a tough opponent for the Cubs moving forward, because their roster was so young.

2nd ranked farm system. And Dallas Kuechel is on his way. By the end of the year, they may very well be playing the dodgers in the NLCS

Baez and Contreras are fine players but are prancing braggarts. If they pulled all the shit they do against a Gibson, Drysdale or Bunning and they would find their asses on the ground

On July 7, 2016, Contreras was behind the plate and former Braves outfielder Jeff Francoeur stared down the catcher after an inside pitch in the ninth inning. Contreras stood up and the two exchanged words, leading to a mob scene on the field in that contest, as well. Now a broadcaster for the Braves, Francoeur discussed that moment on air after Monday’s altercation between Contreras and Flowers.

"Now looking back when you're done,” Francoeur said during the broadcast, “quite frankly, I wish I would've just thrown a haymaker and been done with it. If I knew that was my last year, I would've."

Contreras snorted out a laugh when told of Francoeur’s in-game comments.

“What can I say about that, man? Poor guy. That's all,” Contreras said. “It makes me laugh. He should behave as a professional, you know? If he's going to be behind the screen, he should be a professional. He was a ballplayer. He played a lot in the big leagues. But now that he's behind the screen, he should have respect for everyone.

“He knows. And he knows better. He knows how things go on the field. That's it. He's a poor guy."

Funny thing is, the media is trying to paint this as Willson "crossing a line" and being "offensive" to poor Tyler Flowers.

Bullshit.

Willson turned around after a bad call on a low pitch, and it seems obvious Flowers tried to throw in a jibe like "Hey, this is my ump, man, he'll call whatever I tell him to" kind of comment. Unseen because the mask covers the face. At that point, Willson told Tyler to shut up and do his job, turned around, and hit a home run.

I don't blame the guy who had more than double the number of All Star votes than the next best guy tossing a solid "**** you, asshole" at backup catcher and soon to be retired washout Flowers (who had very, very few write-in votes in the All Star balloting) as he crossed home plate.

As for Francouer? If I was Willson, I'd send the back-channel comment, after the season -- you want a piece of me? I'll break your jaw so bad you'll never work as an announcer again.

So, yeah -- if the Atlanta media is buying this sack of shit, they can go **** themselves.

You think baseball skills entitles someone to shoot his mouth off and hot dog constantly on the field.?

Then you advocate a player street fighting with an announcer

Are you twelve years old?

Hope you are not responsible for raising children
