It will become a big decision for the Bulls after next season as his rookie contract will expire. I'm sure they'll qualify him (if they still have qualifying offers) but if someone else tries to sign him (And I'm sure they would) the Bulls would have to match and that will be a big decision. Sadly Boozer likely isn't going anywhere any time soon with that contract he has.

The Pacers might take a look doubt Larry Bird will over pay so he proably wont end up here. But the kid will get paid he is a great talent.

We can go over the cap to re-sign our own FA's, so he could be here for awhile. I love this team as is, but if we can get a good starting 2 or by some amazing miracle Dwight Howard in a trade, I would hate to lose him but I would be ok with a trade.

I dont know if the new CBA will allow teams to go over the cap by so much. I heard they are gonna try and get rid of the Bird rights or something along those lines.

If they want shorter contracts for leaving for a new team, doesn't make much sense to make it even harder for teams to re-sign their own players. If you do both, then the NBA becomes complete parity, players constantly switching teams left n right. Honestly I think Stern is a D-bag. The NBA is not losing money. Some markets within the NBA are, but the NBA as a whole is in the black. Does Stern really want to dismantle the Lakers, the Celtics, Mavericks, & Magic in one fell swoop? Hell there are only 6 teams total under the cap this year. We, thankfully, happen to be one of them.
