No it was deleted because i posted a similar comment in the game thread before i made a thread focusing on the topic.....Therefore the most crucial point and message, that i was trying to get out there was wiped away withing 15 minutes upon its arrival.

If you write somthing, you expect to stay the way you wrote is otherwise its misguided.

Yes man.

P.s, just because a gm may not think they have a chance to get a free agent, does NOT mean you dont try and figure out a way to make it happen.

This is Chicago we are talking about.
This is the Bulls we are talkiing about., a major major market, and major enterprise.
And a team thats owned by one of richest guys in the sports frachise business.
This is fact.

To think theres no chance to land one of these guys is utter bullshit.

If Pat Riley or someone of his mentality level became the Bulls gm a decade ago, do you think for 1 second that the results of the Bulls success as a whole the last 10 years wouldnt be different?

Really?

Well anyone who doesnt must be someone whos easily brainwashed, manipulated or taken advantage of.
In other words a fool.
I would bet money that there would be at least 2 more Trophys in the U.C display case.

Yes the Bulls have the pieces to move around.
Yes the Bulls will have the money after some of the contracts are off the books.
Theres a way only if you are determined and really seek it.
If you just lay back and JUST WAIT for somthing to fall out of the sky, dont expect Derrick Rose to land on your head.
Expect rain drops.

Rose to the Bulls was a miricle with an almost IMPOSSIBLE CHANCE.
Its like God felt bad for Bulls Fans and just gave us Derrick Rose.
And the way i see it, the Bulls ownership and gm have been wasting a gift from God.
With a boost and head start being just given to the Bulls, they still havnt won a race.

Had Derrick Rose not been handed to the Bulls, under paxsons leadership, the bulls really would be a lottery team by now.
And you all know how much pax loves the draft....Paxson actually would be more suitable being an NBA scout than a president of basketball operations.

Yes it can be done.

Yes it could of BEEN DONE QUITE A WHILE AGO.

Running to and depending on the draft every fucking year instead of making moves is for small market lottery franchises.
Not the damned CHICAGO BULLS.

Chicago is a market that is involved with every country.
This aint fucking indianapolis.

Big market franchises are at the auctions bidding while small markets wait for the scraps thats leftover they can afford.
The Bulls already had a foundation before they even existed at all.

I think we're fine with what we have, we have guys in the lineup more than capable of dropping 20 next to Rose, but when Deng and Butler both have 3 fouls in the 1st qtr that kinda throws a monkey wrench into things. Give it a month or two before you talk about blowing it up for Melo or whatever shooter you have in mind.

It was only game 1.

At least we're not the Knicks who haven't done shit in 40 years, and New York is supposed to be the basketball mecca

The offseason after Rose tore his ACL, the Bulls should have shipped Deng out for draft picks or packaged him with other pieces to land a star player (consistent scorer). Now they are stuck between a rock & hard place regarding Deng. He'll either walk at the end of the season or the FO will foolishly overpay him.

They instead decided to "stay the course" last season, which was a lost season anyway. They were not defeating Miami last season, regardless of a gimpy Rose returning for the playoffs or not.

I have given up on getting "Another Star" I don't see Melo or anybody like that coming to Chicago but hopefully the Bobcats will continue to be Bad and someone like Jabari Parker stays at Duke until he is a Junior and who knows 2016 maybe the Bob Cats are still a Lottery Team and we get lucky and draft a young star like that because I don't see Jerry ever giving Gar and Paxson the Green Light to go out and do what ever it takes to win another Championship....NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!

they'll get another "star", but it won't be a star "star", it'll be a washed up cornball "star".....like Ben Wallace

Good debate on first take this morning revolving around the Bulls' need of a second star. SAS debunked the rumor about Reggie Rose complaining to him at a game last week concerning the Bulls FO's lack of moves. It seems that some Bulls internet message board posters are still attempting to push an anti-Derrick/Reggie Rose agenda. They also debated Rose's lack of "star" foul calls.

I will post the video later.

Man, some of you people have been drinking a little too much koolaid.

The Bulls have been spinning their wheels with this roster for what, four or five years now? They're not getting better, younger or less susceptible to injury. At some point, you have to acknowledge things haven't worked out because it's not the right mix of players. It's about being realistic about what this team can and can't do. This isn't the "Baby" Bulls anymore folks. This team is spending $78 Million on player salary this year. Beating Miami in the playoffs and contending for a championship should be the expectation for this team and its fan base, not winning a bunch of meaningless regular season games.

Trade Noah, Deng and Taj. Amnesty Boozer. Bring in a PF who can score, like Love or Lamarcus A. Get Mirotic in here. Then draft some talented guys who can shoot and score, and let Thibs teach them how to play team defense. Tell me that team wouldn't dominate Miami and everyone else in the league.
