Seriously, they didn't even run his D last season, just kept the terminology. Reading comprehension used to be a good thing.

While not running it per se, the players still retained all those tendencies and techniques from their 8 years under Lovie, lots of the same in playing back off the line, giving up inside leverage, over reliance on pressure from the front 4 exclusively, with no backup plan if it fails. I agree it isn't Lovie's D, but the shadows of the past are still VERY prevalent in the players even now. (Both good things, and bad)
