The offense isn't good, but I like the approach that the Cubs are taking. Nothing was more frustrating was how consistently Cubs teams of the past decade would let crappy pitchers roll through 5+ innings without making him work.

Wow Castillo crushed that ball and the ball completely died.

Cubs can't hit LH SP. missing Jeff Baker right now. Platoon's have been fail in RF/CF. might as well let Dejesus and Schierholtz hit. Bet both hit over .100 vs LH. Which is a upgrade.

Bogusevic is killing AAA. I know he is another LaHair or Hoffpauir but at this point he is better then Sappelt.

Camp decided to be this year's Kerry Wood I see. Basically goes from a league average or better reliever to done in an offseason.

I will give them that they don't quit. Again approach has been excellent against largely excellent pitching tonight. One more mistake is what we need.

Goes to prove that the platoon in RF is a waste of time. Just put Nate in full time vs the .070 Hairston.

This is nothing new this year. The platoons in CF and RF have not produced vs LH starters. Ransom should be at 3B so we will see there. I would scrap the platoon. As we are seeing it is not working and they are losing D and arm strength in RF.

I love how we can only score or hit in the 9th inning. Maybe if our pitching wasn't so bad we could win a few more.

Are you talking about the pitching or hitting? The starters have been pretty solid so far this year, at least Shark, Wood and Villanueva have been stellar. Everything else is not particularly good.
