Boys looked good today, keep it up, sweep the weekend. Today was the first time I had seen all season that the hawks looked like a powerhouse hockey team. Sure Detroit was beat up but despite the score the Hawks had to earn it today.

Yeah, everyone has a bad game here and there but Campbell really did suck today.

I thought the Hawks looked strong in the first, but Bobo kept the Flyers in the game. Then as the game progressed Philly started to get their feet under them and took the game over. I don't think the Hawks looked horrible, they just faced the best team in the league and didn't get the early breaks. Had they managed to pot a goal or two in the first, they could have won it. At least the 2 pts went to the other conference. They'll just need to start picking up those points from now on.

Bickell kicked the shit out of Hartnell and Dowell knocked out Carcillo for awhile for repairs.



5-1-1 in their last 7. Not a huge deal they lost.

Edge to Carcillo, who's a much better fighter than Dowell yet Carcillo was full of his own blood and headed to the locker room for repairs.

Yea Dowell got him with a good shot but Carcillo seemed to land more and better quality punches overall. Dowell held his own and it's good to see someone standing up for themselves against hacks like Carcillo.



The Bickell fight doesn't show much of what happened it lacks a replay of the hit and beginning of the fight. Wish I could have watched the first two periods but was stuck to the radio.

Hawks looked strong in the first, and Bobber turned all the good shots away.

Problem was they continued to shoot at Bobber, and he wasn't going to give up rebounds. The garbage goals were going to win the game today, and the Hawks just did not keep the traffic in front in the latter part of the game.

Kudos to Hossa for snapping the PS streak. Finally!

I dunno, RK. I thought it was a BS call in real time but the replay showed that they could have gotten Hammer for a slewfoot. Not good on his part and a trip at a minimum.



The Hawks simply didn't expect the Flyers to come out playing like the Preds and the Hawks lost their patience a bit by the second. Not the best game the Hawks have played but not the worst, although Soupy sure had a rough ride. Just need to get it back together for Tuesday.
