Man oh man did we ever need that. Hate giving up the late goal but I'm just glad we got the 2 pts.

It was a must-win, as is Sunday.

Hawks controlled the play, except for the first seven minutes and then last 1:26 seconds.

It was a clean game, too. Maybe the Sens got away with a few things, but nothing glaring.

Nice to see the refs let them play.

Hawks penalty kill remains a fucking pathetic joke, but all of lines looked pretty good.

Leave them alone Quenneville!

solid game slept through most of the first half with the game on in the background, thought they played well. Great goal by Kane, he definitely needed that.

And for those of you at the game tonight, yours truly was up on the board during the Harris contest. Not the contestant, but the dork dude in the seats to the right of the contestant. Helllz yea!

Some one want to teach the NHL Linesman what fucking icing is?

no shit that call was pathetic, as evidenced by a certain somebodies reaction towards the linesman.

Did they show that on TV?

No I was sitting in 322 genefoley drew my attention to a guy in a Seabrook jersey pounding the glass and mocking the refs. Needless to say it didn't take long to realize who it was

I thought it was mostly a dreadful game. Two points, I'll take it, sure. But precious few signs of real improvement once again. Lifeless offense, mediocre defense, zero physicality. Go ahead, Chris Neil, please thump our captain one more time before you go off the ice. We don't mind!

21 for 32 on the PK in the last eleven. Maybe they should just put Kane and Scott out there as the forwards and see what happens. Leddy can take the faceoffs. Can't possibly be worse than it already is... right?

Hossa basically isn't a threat to score at this point. People complained earlier in the season that Skille had just one move, the ol' "go down the right wing and then in behind the net". Well, that's all Hossa is doing at the moment. Just not going to score too many goals from behind the net.

Toews is too in love with the corners and half walls and doesn't get into scoring areas. Two shots or less in six of the last ten for him. Kane really only has two or three good shifts a game at this point and continues to struggle. Keith looks like he might never score from the blue line again. He must surely lead the league in attempts blocked.

Thank god Sharp is still scoring consistently and that Campbell is carrying the load defensively or we'd be tussling with Edmonton and Calgary for 14th and 15th playing like this.

Time to get going, Hawks.

Anyone else see Ron's wife behind Konroyd during the pre-game?

I thought that might have been Hossa's strongest game since his return. Puck possession, good moves. Could have easily had 1-2 goals. He took it straight to the net several times. One with two great moves only to hit Elliots pad, and Kopecky missed the rebound.

They were credited with 47 hits last night and I thought one of their most physical games in awhile.
