Good 60 minute effort by every line. I was surprised Q moved Saad down to the third, but I really liked how each line looked. Stay with them now Q!!!!

Does the picture/ice look dim and blueish in all the games (CSN and WGN) so far? All the other teams I've watched seem to have brighter looking lighting and ice.

Bumping Saad down to the 3rd line didn't hurt the Hawks in anyway and if anything gave them a threat on all 3 lines.

Saad seems to be a guy that makes any line he plays on dangerous. I thought Kane's line was fairly average. They really didn't get much going at all. Versteeg looks better but he's still not a guy that should be playing with Kane. He likes to hold onto the puck too much and **** around, and you want Kane to have the puck in the o zone.
I wouldn't call the Stars and the Preds slouches this year. At least early on both teams have been very good early on and we managed a SOW and a OTW against them.

I do agree that St. Louis will be a good test--I wouldn't be surprised if that game went old-time hockey after the 1st round last year. It should be entertaining for anyone not in the Kumbaya anti-fighting coalition.
