Hawks SHOULD win... but we'll see. I hope a win doesn't fall right into Dale's lap.

3-0 Hawks, Crawford with a shutout and a hat trick for Pirri to establish him as a Calder candidate.

Nordstrom demoted. Thank ODIN for that! Joking Nordstrom needs some serious seasoning in the A.

Shit game. They really need to start playing like they mean it. Hawks definitely has a tendency to play down to their opponent. But 2 pts is 2 pts, even if it was from the gimmick.

Third time in 9 games the Hawks've lost a 2-0 lead in the 3rd period. Yikes!!!! Luckily all opponents were East Conference teams, because the 4 points they earned (TB-2, Canes-1, Panthers-1) would've hurt had the games been against Western Conference teams, not to mention the point lost to TB, and two shoot out wins vs. two reg/OT wins in the standings. The Hawks need to start burying their chances earlier in the game and putting games out of reach so when they reach the 3rd period they've got more margin for error.

Otherwise nice to see Bickell picking it up with goals in back-to-back games and Toews potting the PP goal on that sick pass from Keith. Too bad we couldn't bury the two breakaways in OT (Saad & Kane).

Still can't complain - too much - about 6-1-2.

No intensity. Keith and Seabs looked like crap in their own end last night. Glad they got the 2 points but they better play better against Tampa.

October hockey can be so boring sometimes. As long as the intensity ramps up as the season goes along, I'm good with boring crap hockey as long as they're getting points.

They're a brain fart in St. Louis away from having a 9-game point streak to open the season.
