Well NOW this has to mean he can't play Brookbank at forward. I still don't get that. Morin was looking pretty good with Shaw and Bickell.

Wasn't a pretty win, and the PK looked atrocious again, but I'll take it.

Any word on Roszival yet?

Sloppy win, but 2 pts nonetheless. Nice to see the top line producing.

Thought Q said that Rosy needed to get some work done, but didn't seem too serious.

It's gotta be pretty demoralizing to a home team when the opponent have louder fans in your building.

What got into Kruger lately? He's been winning a lot of big faceoffs, it was nice to see Q put him in to close out the game at the end.

My money is on someone being shopped. Unless Morin gave one of Q's daughters an Alaska pipeline I'm willing to bet that either Rosie was getting icetimes because he's being shopped or Brookbank was put at forward to show his versatility 'cause he was being shopped.

Ideally it would be Rosie gone and Brookbank, and eventually Kostka if he comes back strong will be the #6. My gut tells me that if it is indeed Brookbank is being shopped that they're going all-in on Kostka.

I could be wrong, though.

Honestly, I think the 2 best lines in terms of meeting what's expected of them have been lines 1 and 4.

Was also nice to see Keith finally miss the shins and pot one. Keep it up!

Can someone in the media ask Quenneville why he benches Morin and Smith for guys like Mills and Brookbank? I really want to know the answer from his own moustache hidden lips.

I would like to see that as well.

I think Mills is injured but really, Smith has been outplaying him. The need for another center on the 4th line shouldn't supersede the chemistry that's been shown between Bollig/Kruger/Smith.

As for Morin, I really think it's one of Brookbank or Rosival being shopped. I would like to think Q sees Morin was playing quite well and I would like to think that Morin didn't do something so bad off the ice to get him benched (hence the Alaska Pipeline reference).

Speaking of other things I'd like to see the press ask...next time the contract with WGN gets re-upped, can someone ask them if WGN is going to use the money to hire a better camera crew?

I don't know. I mean, at this point in each of their careers, Rozsival is what he is and Brookbank is what he is. The league should know. I don't think, if that is indeed the reason, it's worth benching Morin at all. His potential and seeing what he can do at this level should overrule trying to shop bottom pairing D-men. Or playing a career AHLer in Mills.

Then we have to default to the only logical reason left:

Q caught Morin giving one of his daughters a Urban-dictionary qualifying sex act. My bet is that he walked in on Pirri and morin Eiffel-towering her. would explain why it took so long to get pirri to the 2nd line and the reluctance to put morin in the lineup.

The Chicago press pool will not query Coach Hashpipe. He has two 'Cups after all.

Playing Brookbank at forward is inexplicably stupid, but I've seen that move from Quenneville.

Team is over .700, people moan about some plugs not getting ice time. I guess there just has to be something to complain about.
