No Buff or Ladd to agitate these hacks... but I see our star players feeling the asskicking from last night and stepping their shit up.

I think the Canucks are going to roll the Hawks tomorrow night. You finish blowouts strong so you can carry something positive over to the next game. At least get physical, hit someone, or get pissed off. Show SOMETHING out there. Lying down and taking it in the ass is probably the worst thing you can do in that situation. The difference in motivation and "want" between the Hawks and the teams they are playing is massive right now. Newsflash guys, you are not the lovable underdogs anymore. You have a massive target on you. Vancouver has had this game circled on their calendar for months. You know they are going to come out and intimidate the shit out of the Hawks. Unfortunately, the Hawks have nobody to throw that back at them, as we saw tonight.

I hope I'm wrong, and that the Hawks somehow overlooked Calgary(inexcusable regardless) as they were playing the Cafucks the next night.

They better come out with some passion and not as the loose stool they looked like last night. As long as they bring a proper fight to the ice then I can even stomach a loss, obviously a big win would be just great. Make LuOOOOOOOOOOO cry.

Unless Skille scores 3 goals and 5 assists, we are fucked.

I don't want to sound like a broken record here, but Ladd and Byfuglien have as many points as Toews and Kane do. Cool huh?

Time to look for silver linings for tonight in what has otherwise been a shit storm of dark clouds.

The Hawks played took the ice last night while the Canucks have enjoyed a couple of days off after a road trip. Advantage Vancouver? Not necessarily. Many teams lay an egg in the first game home after a road trip. Guys like Burrows and Bieksa have been making up for lost time at the local bath house and may be spent.

After the Flames game, the Hawks should be looking for immediate redemption. If the efforts not there in spades for the entire 60 minutes this could be a really long trip.

Crawford may get the call and it seems as if the team plays a bit better defensive game when he's in the net.

If the game starts to slip away and the Hawks lose keep the following in mind- 1) the Hawks don't have fans in green-*** full body suits near the penalty box and, 2) The Hawks anthem singer is much better than the Nucks anthem singer.

I am a little nervous won't lie. The way the team has played and esp last night the Canucks will slaughter these guys. Canucks do not like us and if the Hawks play passive we are looking at another 7 goals against.

On the bright side teams rarely get slaughtered 2 games in a row. Hawks should be awake after last night. That slapping should wake them up a little. If it doesn't. Well then oh oh..I don't see the team making the playoffs this year. Yup I said it. If the Hawks don't look like they want to play tonight then they don't make the playoffs. Pretty silly saying that based on this game? Probably. Not saying they have to win but they better show the effort. I can't believe I just said that. What a difference a year makes.

Skille top line please. Lets send a message Q.

I hope for that as well. I remember the brawl the White Sox and Detroit Tigers had in April 2000 with several fights on the field and how it united the Sox as a team and they went on to take charge and win the division that year. Since we can't shake whatever the bug is after 22 games and 27% of the season now over maybe we need a brawl or several scrums just to unite and bond together. I think everyone is out of answers at this point.
