Got a surprise for you guys today... We're getting to be the first ones to see the new Ducks 3rd jerseys today. The Ducks announced that a long time ago and I knew about it for a little while, but I didn't want to say anything.

And this is to show you that I wasn't kidding...

I so can't wait to see them, even though I've been told they're nothing really big. But we'll see. I swear though.... If they're orange, my eyes could have some problems...

And I know most of you hate afternoon games, but this one has ALWAYS been an Anaheim tradition. Yes, even the Ducks have some as well, and this Friday game is one of them.

Some may think its ugly, but it satisfies those out west who were huffing and puffing about wanting a webbed "D" only on the sweater. Personally, I like it.... especially since they brought the old logo back... What an honor to bring that one back. I thought Disney had all rights to it...

Either way, I may not work with them anymore but I love the new sweater. Its a way to bring back the old and keep new traditions.

Anybody see us yet? We are 15 rows up off Hiller's left shoulder. This rink is nice. It has marble floors everywhere and the toilet stalls have cupholders!

I like it better, but the striping on the sides of the body needs to go and the logo is too large. The small orange striping is unnecessary and clutters the jersey, they can do without that as well.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Hawks pretty much dominated the game.

Need to win tomorrow.......A +.500 trip is a must.

Good game, and if going by the trend, tomorrow will be a stinker. I've been hoping after every win that they can string together a couple of wins, but so far gotten shit. Any reason to think THIS time might be different?

I think he should start considering he's put up better numbers and has played much better.

Either way Crawford is the goaltender of the future and as long as he keeps getting sold ice time and plays well he'll be the number one soon enough.

Craw had a good game but so did the Hawks defense overall. PK was the dominant factor of the game from what I saw. Ducks have a strong powerplay and the Hawks did great shuting it down and boy did they have to be in top form today to do so seeing it was def a one sided affair for special teams. Keith shorthanded goal was the momentum changer of the game easily. Brouwers shift when he scored his goal was unbelievable...a perfect shift Troy.

Anyways as far as Crawford goes. He is the Hawks future in net. Why give him #1 duties now? Let the kid play the back up roll where he seems to be fitting in perfect. We haven't seen the guy play back to backs or more than 1 game a week so a bit early to be anointing him. But I agree TJD he has made a name for himself and I can't wait until he does become the Hawks #1. It won't be this season though. There has been nothing wrong with Turcos game. Maybe instead of annointing Crawford the #1 goalie right now maaaaybe he has simply earned more games? I like to think that's the proper way to go. I think Turcos couple bad games are simply a sign of an old man. Give Craw 30-35%% of the games this season I think that's the way to go about it. Good for the team..good for Craw..good for Turco...good for everyone.

Anyways I thought the Hawks played a strong game today and looked like they were having fun. FUN is a key with these guys. They play so much better when they are having fun.

PLEASE...win against LA. The bipolar stuff has to change lol.

I agree with that, just slowly give him more games... don't throw him into the fire yet. That is a lot of added pressure to place on the shoulders of a rookie on a team with high expectations.

Kinda like last year.

Assuming you mean the goalkeeping.

Not at all. Last year Huet was playing like garbage and lost all confidence. Turco is NOT playing like garbage. I don't know where that assumption is comming from with people. Turco is also not playing without confidence. If he was you wouldn't see him touching that puck and playing it. Turco stops playing the puck when he is unconfident.

Not even close to the goalie situation we had last year. Turco has not been an issue at all this season.

+1 and this is the last compliment you will be receiving from me for the year.

Nice level-headed response!
