Morin plays 7:40. Bollig? 11:23. That is with Morin playing 1:09 on the PP. So, even strength is 6:31 for Morin and 11:21 for Bollig. I just don't get it.

You're coming off a LONG season and winning a cup, and you're playing Toews and Kane 25 minutes in a game in December? While you have two young guys in Smith and Morin sitting on the bench that played less than 10 minutes?

So many decisions just don't make any sense.

Saad/Toews/Kane

Sharp/Pirri/Hossa

Versteeg/Kruger/Smith

Morin/Handzus/Bollig

When Bickell and Shaw are back, it makes things even easier. The bottom six becomes:

Bickell/Shaw/Versteeg

Smith/Kruger/Morin

Handzus and Bollig sit. Bollig plays against teams you actually need him.

You do that, and you can roll the lines pretty well, and keep guys fresh.

Is it really this hard?
