Two very difficult games in a row, back to back. Detroit tomorrow on national TV and Boston on Tuesday on national TV. I don't have much confidence in either game but I say Hawks get at least 2/4 pts.

It is getting a little harder to stay confident. Missing Sharp and Bolland take a lot of making up for. I might be satisfied with 2 pts.

Injury Report -- The Blackhawks are still waiting on Sharp's return from a knee injury, as he is expected to miss at least one more week. Dave Bolland continues to be sidelined indefinitely with a concussion. … Beyond Howard, Detroit's injury woes appear to be the last real obstacle for the team ahead of the postseason. While Brian Rafalski (lower-body injury) and Todd Bertuzzi (back) both played Saturday against Toronto despite their ailments, Johan Franzen (groin) and Pavel Datsyuk (lower-body injury) both missed the game.

yes but at least it sounds like he isn't completely healthy yet: “I'm playing tomorrow,'' Franzen said after Sunday's practice. "I was skating with max speed. Usually takes 2-3 games to get back to 100 percent.''

More likely than not, work will not allow for me to watch the beloved on Monday. This team responds when their backs are against the wall. More so when they are the ones putting their backs in that position.



A full 60 minutes of effort with no stupid penalties and no multiple odd man breaks will make me happy. And result in a Hawks win.

Man the Bolland concussion is really bugging me. Just cause the severity of the hit looked minimal, yet almost 3 weeks later and he's still out indefinitely. Not questioning his toughness in any way, Bollands one of my favorite, just concussions that puzzle me.

He got hit on the back of the head below the helmet with an Elbow. Those with Concussion symptoms have head aches, massive dizzieness and in general times where they just can't focus. There is a test each player takes at the beginning of each season. They must pass another test similar before retaking the ice.



Those that have multiple concussions appear often to have serious symptoms above for longer times. IE Johansson last year, it was said when he got on the stationary he fell off. Never can tell how long it will take. Although the more concussion the longer it often is.



Kubina really fucked him up.

I am not optimistic about these games. They NEED to win these, but the opposition is very good. On the one hand the Hawks usually show up for these games against tougher opponents, so who knows.



Just win, is all I can ask for.
