GAME #68
vs
(37-24-6) --- (37-21-8)
(37-24-6) --- (37-21-8)
Hawks respond and shut down the S-L-S line.
5-1 Hawks.
Tampa is a tough team to play this year. Very similar to the Hawks, with a weaker D-core.
Containing the SLS line is almost as impossible as it is for teams to contain our STK line. This might be the type of game I put Keith/Seabrook back together.
I don't mind Keith/Leddy but I don't think Leddy is at that elite level yet and might be too much work for him... with a stacked line like Tampa's top, maybe its time to reunite Keith/Seabs and have them try to shut them down. Leddy's rookie mistakes would be exposed -- people would be kidding themselves if they said he never makes those types of mistakes, and a top line like SLS would definitely take advantage of it. Maybe not the time for him to experience something like that, keep his confidence rolling.
I think we'll come out hard today. Tampa has a potent offense and streaky goaltending, Roloson could be good but who knows which guy shows up in net. Very winnable game, if the effort is there we can pull out a W. I think the key here is getting the first goal. Most away teams just like to play that perfect "road" game, but I think we need to attack off the bat and push the pace here. If we sit back Tampa is going to score.

I think tampa is a tough match up...for teams in the East. The Bolts are 6w 8 loses against teams in the West. I don't see their game matching the Hawks.
I'm sure Q will put Seabrook and Hjarlmarsson against that line.
Honestly, I want to see the Turk start. Give Dr. Craw an extra day of rest.
Either way let's bet the snot out of these guys--especially for their ugly-ass new unis.
I want Corey in net. I just don't think Turco is that good anymore.
Looked fine last night. And I expect him to get the start.
