Hawks respond and shut down the S-L-S line.

5-1 Hawks.

5-1 is a litttle out there Stu...I think this will be a test, a very tough test..This was the game I was worried about...if all the teams that we easily left two points was Florida. I am at work and still fuming from that loss. I don't care how many excuses everyone tells me, we should have lit that team up. There is no excuse. as I mentioned before, this team should come out flying. Funjet vacation is over!

Tampa is a tough team to play this year. Very similar to the Hawks, with a weaker D-core.

Containing the SLS line is almost as impossible as it is for teams to contain our STK line. This might be the type of game I put Keith/Seabrook back together.

I don't mind Keith/Leddy but I don't think Leddy is at that elite level yet and might be too much work for him... with a stacked line like Tampa's top, maybe its time to reunite Keith/Seabs and have them try to shut them down. Leddy's rookie mistakes would be exposed -- people would be kidding themselves if they said he never makes those types of mistakes, and a top line like SLS would definitely take advantage of it. Maybe not the time for him to experience something like that, keep his confidence rolling.

I think we'll come out hard today. Tampa has a potent offense and streaky goaltending, Roloson could be good but who knows which guy shows up in net. Very winnable game, if the effort is there we can pull out a W. I think the key here is getting the first goal. Most away teams just like to play that perfect "road" game, but I think we need to attack off the bat and push the pace here. If we sit back Tampa is going to score.

I'm sure Q will put Seabrook and Hjarlmarsson against that line.

I noticed them together during last night at times, particularly near the end.

Lighting? Come on, that's not a real team? They from Europe or Olympus or something?

I think tampa is a tough match up...for teams in the East. The Bolts are 6w 8 loses against teams in the West. I don't see their game matching the Hawks.

Rolo is key-- and he is no Vokoun. If they pepper Rolo the way they did Vok, this will be a 2 point night for the Hawks.

Offensive - Advantage hawks. Our scoring just runs deeper and with Vinny playing 1st line instead of 2nd line all their offense is generated from 1 line. though Bergenheim (a 3rd liner) is pretty damn good, has impressed me when I've been at Bolt games.

Defensive - Advantage hawks. We probably have the faster D in the league. Tampa doesn't their D is solid but the hawks offense will just out speed them.

Goaltending - Advantage hawks. Our backup (Turco) is comparable to their starter. Rolly is good but he ain't that good. I watched in person as Detroit pissed all over him.

I think the hawks will win this game, I think we'll all know how it is going to turn out in the first 5 minutes of the game and I do think if the hawks score first they will beat the bolts for certain.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Honestly, I want to see the Turk start. Give Dr. Craw an extra day of rest.

Either way let's bet the snot out of these guys--especially for their ugly-ass new unis.

If I had another alternative, that would probably be it. Still would like to see Seabs/Keith but won't mind if Hammer/Seabs was the match-up.

I want Corey in net. I just don't think Turco is that good anymore.

Well I think I jinxed them last night, I paid for my playoff tickets just prior to the game last night.

I think it was a good wake up call for them, no matter who you play , YOU HAVE TO PLAY 60 MIN
