Thanks, nana, too.

And it's the "trying" that's so much fun

Today there is little if any chatter about it. Guess since it was in the "safe space" it was ok. Colin has to live up to his comment...

I was just going to point that out. You beat me to it. I was expecting the Hawks to be on the PP to start the 3rd. Pat and Eddie did'nt say a word about it at the start of the 3rd, they were to busy taliking about Pat's car.

And a huge congrats to Mikita'sHelmet. I love the name Samuel !!

I'm not going to rant on Pat and Eddie but the more I listen to them they just get progressively worse. John and Troy are head and shoulders better. My problem I watch the games on DVR , I can't stand all of the commercials when watching live.

The UC will be rockin on Sunday !

Rewatching the game it was certainly a dirty hit from Edler. No doubt about it.

I also thought Hamhuis slamming Bollands head into the glass was intent to injure as well. It's quite clear he just came back from a concussion. **** Tim Peel for not protecting ANY players in that situation. He should be fucking fined, but like the sign above Colin Campbell is nothing but INCONSISTENT!

I am shocked that no media outlets are taking a shot at Bettman and Colin Campbell after that elbow, or some of the other shit that went on in game 4.

It is blatantly obvious though that Peel or a NHL official of some kind went into the lockerrooms (especially the Canucks) during the second intermission and told them to knock it the **** off. The Canucks might as well have not bothered to play the third period. They didn't try at all.

I thought so as well, otherwise the 3rd period would have been a blood bath.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
RK, you seem to be in know with a lot of the players, do you have any idea what Bolland was saying to Hamhuis that got him into the box with that grin on his face?

BTW, Can't get overconfident yet; our backs are just as up against the wall as they have been since game 3. Have to take every game 1 period at a time and ever period 1 shift at a time...

That being said, management/coaching would be fucking imbeciles if they kept Scott out of the lineup for any reason.

Here's hoping Seabs come back soon....and looking forward to Zombie Jesus Day for game 6!

Same issue here and you're right, they do just continue to get worse.

It's the playoffs, quit bullshitting and talk about the fucking game already! We don't care about a kid eating ice cream OR your wife chocolate chip cookies.

He was pissed off Hamhuis, who's also had Concussion problems THIS YEAR, smashed his head against the glass. There is a picture of the hit and it's not good. Clearly a hit to the head. Peel did fucking nothing just as he did nothing to Elder on Brouwer.

That's why all this "hit to the head" bullshit is just that, Bullshit.

Confidence and momentum are more significant than some think. Early and often this team was accused of no heart, not caring, boring, etc. It had much more with these guys trying to do too much - which is one of the worse things an athlete can do in any sport, it only makes it harder.

Credit to Q - he is outcoaching AV once again.

Bigtime Kudo's to Keith. Guy works almost too hard and it probably effected his play all year. Seems like a gigantic weight has been taken off his back last game. More and more....as Keith goes....so do the Hawks.

Next game will be the toughest - it's not "this easy" as the last 2 games have been. VAN is better than what they've played...I think they expected the Hawks to roll over in gm 4(too much character for that)...or thought just showing up at home would be enough (Hawks have proven to be as good as a road team in the playoffs as they are at home). I expect them to regroup and play their best game of the series on Sunday. They will probably try to play a boring/trapping game and capitalize on any Hawk mistake/their scoring chances. Similar to what they did last year in gm5. Collapse around Luongo and frustrate the Hawks. Let Luongo see/make the first save and clear rebounds. Try to make it a 2-1 game. Hawks need to keep the pressure on by scoring as they have been..first 3 games, they had the same chances - just didn't score.

I think they are going to try to make it a slow...boring game on sunday. Try to frustrate the Hawks. Sunday is going to be the toughest game of the series. Kane/Toews time to bury some chances.

The refs consistant inconsistency is just a continuation of Colin Campbells incompetance. I sometimes wonder if Bettman won't make a change there (fire Campbell) because it would be admitting they are failing, which they are.

The crosscheck call on Campbell at the beginning of the game was a joke when the ugly brother dove down, I liked Keiths helmet tap while he was down. That was a big time PK to keep the Nucks from getting their game going.

I'm being quite serious here, but someone needs to hit Colin Campbell in the head and give him a concussion with symptoms that last two months. See what life is like when you are in a perpetual fog motherfucker. He played the game too, that's the fucked up part...

do your job refs and league officials, that's all we are asking!

The other Sister did that same cross check later in the game with no call.

NHL Officiating is FUCKED. And you can pick certain refs like Peel over other refs and KNOW there will be 2-3 fucked up calls and or no calls.

Bolland coming back from a concussion, being hit in the head by a player who was also just out for a concussion says it all.

Thats why Bolland was pissed.

Pussy Sedin definitely should have received two for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in.

Two stunningly convincing wins in a row. When comparing these two teams, a lot of people said coming into the series that "this isn't the same team as in the previous two years" in reference to the Canucks. I never bought that for a second. The one that changed was clearly Chicago. Now, the team that got overhauled is starting to click while the other is disintegrating in familiar fashion. The Hawks are slicing through the Canucks' defense while the likes of the Sedins and Kesler seem to allow the games to just pass by, making precious little impact. And it's just not playoff hockey without Luongo getting pulled a couple of times against the Hawks.

I'll admit that this feels somewhat akin to playing with house money, but the Hawks' swagger is making a comeback. Game 6 is going to be epic.
