Another icing, what's the record for icing penalties in a game?

Gone are the days where a 2-0 home lead was safe. At least with this group.

Versteeg and Bollig with 3 minutes or less, Zus with 8 minutes, everyone else basically pulling regular duty.

Against ANY other team that would still be safe/ish but LA is a great team and they play a facet of the game the Hawks don't possess and they have had four extra players on the ice the entire series.

Now we have to listen to the dumbass announcers saying what a clean series it's been. If the series was played clean we would be hosting New York.

Really looking forward to seeing Tuevo next year and not seeing Versteeg. We are going to be a force again next year with almost everyone returning. Unless the NHL addresses the officiating problems during Hawks games it's going to be difficult for us to win Cups.

Kings ice the puck, the Hawks have momentum, and Q leaves Kane on the ice to double shift, and puts Handzus and Versteeg out there with him. Faceoff is immediately lost and the puck is going the other way.. Then there's a shitty bounce off of a King and Leddy in front, and it goes in the net. For the 4th bad bounce of the night for the Hawks. Typical.

Kings did get away with some penalties in the series, but the same goes for the Hawks. It was clean in the sense there was no extracurriculars going on between the whistles and no blatant cheapshots or drama.

Bunch of odd goals in this game, weird bounces and it's too bad the bounce in OT went against the Hawks. I am not really bitter about it ending this way, can't win it every year, even if they came very close for a shot at a repeat. There's only next year and I would be fine if the Kings and Hawks alternated Cup wins.

Still think the Carter goal looked like a hi-stick from that one angle. But what can you do. Those them bounces.

In all honesty, they battled back from a 3-1 deficit and took it to OT. Yeah, they had the lead, but let's not forget that LA is almost identical in skill and talent. This will probably be the best series of all the playoffs. The Kings and Hawks will be going back and forth for a few years. Honestly, I'm glad I got to see good hockey the last 3 games especially after games 1-4.

Absolutely. Throwing aside my Hawks' fandom, this was one of the most entertaining series I have ever watched.
