Lived in Austin for 18 years. The myth about it being the Live Music Capital of the World is just that. I've seen more live music in Chicago in MUCH better venues in the 2+ years I've been back here. The Comedy is a joke (no pun intended) along with the theater scene, (again no pun intended). No professional sports unless you like Soccor. No real Public transportation and the cheapest neighborhood in the city would rival Wicker Park prices. Most over hyped city in Texas. And FUCKING HOT..

TRU DAT, I think Oregon is 99 pct white. Being from chicago it is weird to not see a single individual from India here. When I grew up in Illinois guaranteed 8 of 10 stops of any gas station, fast food or convenient stores would be a person from india behind the counter, heh.
