I'm gonna root for OKC in the Finals regardless of who they play... but I'm kind of going back and forth on who I want to see them play. I think they can beat Boston in 5-6 games.. And I think Miami can actually beat OKC.. but regardless of who wins between Miami and OKC, I think it would be a very tight series.. so that would be more fun to watch.

can? by the technicality of the meaning of the word ya, and they have a chance with the big 3 all healthy..bosh is what they have really been missing

but chances are one of the big 2(wade or lebron) will be off in each game and they cant drive that well with ibaka inside(thabo is gonna be tough on wade me thinks)

and spoelstra couldn't coach a AAU team in a pee wee league

okc has home floor..and i would be absolutely stunned if the heat get a win in there...so by default okc would win in 7....in actuality,i'm thinking 5 or 6

I said whoever wins the West is winning the title, I'm standing by that. If Boston closes Miami out tonight, this will be a fun series in the Finals.

OKC would beat either of these teams in the East in my opinion. But the league would probably be better off with a Miami-OKC rivalry. They don't like each other as it is, and the two best players in the game would face off. I don't recall two players being 1 and 2 in the best of category in the league and their position on the floor. I would much rather see Miami than Boston in the Finals.

I hope it is OKC and Miami in the finals. I have seen enough of Boston there.

No matter who they face OKC is taking the title imho. The bad thing about Miami losing though is Spoelstra will probably be fired which means they may get a halfway decent coach next season. Miami with a competent coach would have 1 title already, on their way to a 2nd.

There is no best player in the NBA.

It seems the purpose of the 2012 NBA playoffs is not merely to determine who gets to smudge up the Larry O'Brien Trophy with their triumphant sweaty handprints—it's to demonstrate which players are fundamentally superior to which other players. Will Boston's Big Three get a second ring? Will LeBron James prove his greatness by finally winning a title? Or will the younger Kevin Durant beat him to it, leaving James a 27-year-old has-been?

Even in the days of the Bulls, people sensed that one superlative wasn't really enough, which is how Scottie Pippen ended up being called the league's "best all-around player"—a dodge, like naming a boxer the "best pound-for-pound fighter." Pippen wasn't as good as his own teammate, Jordan, but he could work a box score from side to side more thoroughly than anybody else. (Like LeBron James does.) You saw him and you had to say something.

Ref Dan Crawford is working Game 6. Heat are 13-3 in playoffs since '04 (Wade era) with Crawford on game. 48-40 in other playoff gms

terrible stat.. but I wanted to see reactions.

Honestly, I'm mostly picking Miami to win it all because I picked to beat the Thunder in the Finals before the season started and then again before the playoffs started. hahaha.

I wouldn't be surprised if OKC beat them at all.

But I really do think Miami can beat OKC. If they can win the next 2 against Boston, they'll be entering the Finals with a lot of momentum. So will the Thunder, but I think Miami will have a little more momentum.

Right now, I could pick OKC based on how they have played as of late. But I'm gonna stick with my Miami pick

I want Boston/Miami to take this badly:

1. I see OKC as the realistic rival to the Chicago Bulls over the next 10 years, and I don't want them to get a 1-up on us while Rose nurses a blown ACL

2. As much as I hate Miami, the realism is that they are probably going to win one. If they win 2 in a row vs. Boston, I hope they beat OKC. It's not like ESPN could be on the Heat's piills any less...and OKC winning it would have to make us hear about how Westbrook is the best PG in the NBA and Durant is the best player in the NBA (which you could make a good case for)...while we all sit back and think about how Rose has led Chicago to the best record in the NBA two straight seasons, and the ECF once ON HIS DAMN OWN.

Go Boston, so I don't have to hear about the Thunder or the Heat

So would you really be upset if, hypothetically, the Thunder had 5 rings and we had "only" 3 in the next 10 years?

I wouldn't give a ****. I'd be happy that we won a ring.
