Packers are going to torch the 49ers.

Right now, Brady is the only one who can go to toe with Rogers in the NFC.
Yeah I can see the 9ers coming out strong and looking like a giant upset, then AR starts making plays, GB gets a couple iffy calls, and the rout is on.

the snarks were making jokes about Rodgers and the Packers not making it past the NFC championship game.

this is going to be a fucking karmic rebalance, but not due to the Bears ineptitude. go 49ers.
I keep telling myself the 9ers have a chance. then the Garropolo 19 virus sets in

The cardinals without Watt and Hopkins?

What is worse, missing Watt and Hopkins (who played about half the game), or missing our top 3 WRs, starting LT, LG, C, and two of top 3 corners, along with our best pass rusher?

That's the point. The Packers have been significantly more hampered by injury then any of our opponents. We have been without our star players significantly worse then any team in the league.

Injuries and missing star players is no excuse for Packers opponents, considering the Packers had significantly more injuries and missing star players. (And yet we still keep winning lol)

You do understand that you have a HOF QB right? You don't need to be at full strength when you have A.Rodgers.

Okay but of we can overcome a ridiculous amount of injuries, then no excuses for the opppnent who have significantly less injuries.

just stop it already. You have one of the top 5 QB or all time. He makes that Oline look way better than it is.
Cardinals have been on a slide since Watt went out and they clearly aren't the same team without Hopkins.

Idk about that, at the very least it will be competitive. The 9ers play the perfect type of game to beat GB. They'll manage the clock, run the ball and not give up many yards or big plays defensively.

If Bosa plays, it will be a tight match.

Even if that was true (it is not) it is irrelevant. Three our starting O line, two of our top 3 corners, our best pass rusher and our starting FS were out with injury.

That is obviously much more of an impact then Watt and Hopkins. Alexander and Zadarius alone are, let alone Bahktiari and the rest.

That depends really. If there isn’t much of a drop off from from starters to backups, it doesn’t really matter. Ie if your starter sucks, who cares?

its a topic of convo for the bears on a tangential note: just because a player starts for the Bears doesn’t mean he’s good or would start for another team lol.

really, it’ should be about the quality of players lost to injury.

Okay, but Davante, Bahktiari, Jenkins, Alexander, and Zadarius are all top 3 players in the league at their position.

Not to mention, if your starter sucks, but your backups are way worse, then it obviously makes a difference.

Yeah I don’t have a dog in this fight, GB has had a lot of key injuries. They are pretty healthy now though, right?

and the backups thing isn’t necessarily true. Sometimes it’s just a veteran/rookie pecking order. bears fans were calling for starting CB Kindle Vildor to be benched all year, and when he finally was, the backups played a little bit better than him.

also, Andy Dalton…?

49ers tried to lose the game, then the Cowboys stood up and said 'hold my beer'...
