Should have been Wednesday. They threw him right into the fire, and his extinguisher wasn't quite full.

That said, he really does have some amazing stuff. I wish I had dvr'd it, but the Hawks were last nights priority.

I caught him, he seemed "tight"

You can watch some of it on condensed game

Johnson optioned to AAA. I haven't seen it confirmed but logic and rumor seem to indicate that Sanchez will be up.

I wonder why

He needs to learn how to competently play 2b and could probably use some additional work on the base paths too. Sanchez is an immediate upgrade with the glove and is hitting .344 at Charlotte. I was surprised Sanchez wasn't the choice at the beginning of the season.

I hope Sanchez gets the time at second and not Gordon.

He can throw over 100 MPH. Early in his career he was quite wild and was basically a single pitch pitcher. In the past two seasons he's gotten better with his control. He's been toying with adding three to four other pitches including a power curve to his fastball. Don Cooper should help. I think he has a legit shot of making the club out of Spring Training. He's got setup man/closer written all over him. He's already our 20th best prospect which given how strong our system is says we made out like bandits by getting rid of money we can't spent.
