That's the one thing I do not like about Euroball, The Olympics and the college game. The 3 point line is too damn short.

It's the main reason you see upsets in the NCAA tourney and in some Olympic games.

I always found it funny that the top players in the world (in the Olympics) are shooting from just a few inches further than some 15 year old in high school.

At least FIBA is moving it back over 22 feet now. But it should be the same as the NBA. I wish college would move it back too. 99% of these great NCAA Tourney upsets happen because some little school goes batshit from 3-point land.

You have more talented players and more teams. So because of what? Because you simply have many more guys playing basketball. Soccer for example is exactly the opposite.

NBA is more physical. That´s totally right. But maybe this is because NBA players get millions of dollars so they don´t have to worry about that and can practice all the time. Even the bench players earn money you can only dream about here. For example in Germany there are players who only get a couple of thousand € and they have to have a job beside.

40 minutes instead of 48. Who cares? I could argue that you get exhausted way faster in Europe because of the playing style. When you play 1on1 there are 8 players standing and watching. In Europe you have to move more without the ball. That´s a fact. (I´m a little ironical with that ;-) )

Wow and you have tons of timeouts.

I´m not saying Euroball is better than than NBA ball or could even beat the NBA, hell no. I´m clearly on your side with that.

All I´m trying to say is that the style is very different so it makes it hard to compare.

But don´t say Euroball sucks because this is not the truth! You only have to have some background information to really know what´s going on over here.

Next season we´ll get the NBA range over here, too. :)

I didn't say Euroball sucks. I said it was a joke when compared to the NBA because it is. I'm not backing down on that statement. Yes the styles and rules are different. We agree on that. And I'm not saying Euroball doesn't have good teams or players. But there's no way the defense in Euroball is better than NBA. Fundamentals, one could say are better in Euroball but even that is dicey because there is a lot of good fundamental play in the NBA. I'll say Euroball is more team oriented & focuses more on the fundamentals than the NBA. But when still comparing the two, Euroball is to the NBA as US MLS is to FIBA.
