Electric Wizard. My favorite band. I started listening to them when I was your age and they changed my life forever. They got me into collecting records.

They're definitely a band you don't forget if you're into heavier stuff. I just remember buying the 'Dopethrone' CD in like 2002 and being absolutely blown away. It was like if Sabbath, St. Vitus, Blue Cheer and Candlemass all got thrown into a blender. Electric Wizard is the ultimate doom metal. I absolutely love their sound, their attitude, their ridiculous occult lyrics... it's just fantastic. They take their image so seriously and truly relish in making every one of their albums completely different.
