Meh, arguments can be made either way.
For example, trading Garza right now would be dumb unless we're completely blown away. dude can be a top-of-the-rotation starter for a few years.
Castro's value right now is higher than it will ever be when you factor in what he's getting paid, but it'd be pretty dumb to trade him.
The Cubs aren't going to contend this year and likely not contend next year. But in 2013, those 2 wins they improve with Garza may help them get a wild card spot.What is the point in having a top of the rotation starter, when you team lacks a true #1 and is not going to contend for anything?
