The NFL draft is about a month away, and I thought I'd get my seaonal thread ready.
The Bears really needed to make a statement with their offseason hires, so they go out and hire Matt Eberflus and Ryan Poles. ?
I'll just say, I think the coaching staff is waaay closer to Fox/Loggains than Belichick/McDaniels. (From an effectiveness standpoint.) I don't even remember who the DC is to be honest.
My theme for 2022 is: The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Step one for me to feel better about the season is Poles prioritizing o-line and CB over WR. (That doesn't mean he shouldn't draft a WR.) We need a center, RG, and another OT because you cannot count on Jenkins and Borom.
