In the last 17 games (which begins with the 12/3 contest against the Stars), Sharp has:

14 G (5 on the PP), 7 assists, 21 points.

In that span, he's had two hat tricks, 4 games with at least 3 points, and 1 game with 4 points.

Always felt like Sharp was a streaky player. But when he's on his game, it's fantastic. Skating with Toews and Hossa sure doesn't hurt him, either.

Feels like he has to be on Team Canada, right? Probably just in time for this streak to run out hahaha

Ooh Canada.. He's gonna knock Seabs and his 7th defensemen role off the unit.

Personally, I think you are all witnessing a player who is now in his prime. Fuck all that noise about a players prime being his later 20's, you cant pin point a certain time and say those are the golden years where a player should produce the most.

Sharp has possibly the third or fourth fastest set of wheels on arguably the fastest team in the NHL. Couple that with great hands and a decade of NHL experience its no wonder the guy is producing the way he has been. I don't buy into the whole "streaky" concept, this isn't Brian Noonan, you play with two world class players, you are gonna bury a few more then the rest.

I think Sharp gets 50 this year and makes the Ovie fanbois cry.

Reminds me of Alfonso Soriano. Usually a really good player, but when he gets hot there's almost nobody better

Except always pretty good defensively, not just in the last couple years of his career.

3 games, 0 goals for Sharp since that hat trick against NJ.

My apologies for the jinx.
