I liked hearing that he golfed with Danny Ainge before game 2. On TV during the games, they always looked like they hated each other.


I had forgotten all of the Pippen drama as well.
Great first 2 episodes.

great stuff, yeah, MJ is starting to sound like a prick, but so far its only towards Krause.

Jerry telling Scottie dont sign that 7/18 deal because he will lose money, but Scottie wanting to take care of his wheel chair bound family. He was more mad at himself than anyone else, for not listening to Jerry.

I really hope they get into his Father dying and leaving after the first three peat. That came to my mind, how for a half of 1997, Michael had to run without Scottie, but then left and left scottie to hold the bag for those middle years. I always thought Mikes dad was killed over Michaels gambling debts, no way that would come out though.

I really didn't think Jordan sounded like a prick -- and since when does he give a shit about that? If anything made him sound like a prick, it was his hall of fame speech, but I digress. I loved how Jordan said he wouldn't have been the player he was without Pippen -- very cool. It made me think about the greatest tandems in Chicago sports history -- MJ/Pipp would probably have to be #1.

Anyways, good episodes. Guess I'll have to wait for the episode on Craig Hodges...

C'mon now....you guys are being a bit rough on my guy Hodges. I always loved the fact that he carved out an NBA career by doing absolutely nothing but shoot 3 pointers. :)

Jerry Krause wasn't an angel but PHIL JACKSON was a master manipulator. He wanted that GM job Krause had and when Jerry R wouldn't fire Krause and pick Jackson, Jackson managed to make the team hate Krause even more.

Let's not make Phil Jackson an angel here like the show did.

Hmmm, let's see. A guy who put together 10 hours of info on the 1998 season didn't have privy to that but some schmuck on a sports forum will enlighten us. Got it.

Jordan's people created this doc. Jordan had 20 years to green light it and finally did it. This is all Jordan's story. Not saying he's wrong, but the truth isn't going to be 100 percent here.

He also went on to L.A where he took over no GM duties for Munchak out there. You'd think this doc would mention Phil wanting that job.
I don't think Phil wanted the GM job.
