2013 Bears Opening Day: 1244 unique visitors on the site during the game.
2014 Bears Opening Day: 2733 unique visitors on the site during the game. More logged in users as well.

Most users ever online was 3,833, 12-29-2013 at 08:39 PM - This was the Bears/Packers game. Also last game of the season. The only other way to really see any decline, would be to compare a Packers game or the peak of the season. To call that any form of decline would mean you consider the first day of winter to indicate how weather will be, in comparison to the peak(warm or cold) day of the prior winter.

Same metric. The only difference possible, more bots are blacklisted from accessing the site now with up to date filters, so less unique visits are counted. Also, we don't pad visits, because they are paramount to determine all analytical data to know what we need as far as hosting, and how to plan accordingly. Hosting an active site is not cheap, so we need accurate data. And you don't survive in this field by cooking the books.

Not only is traffic up, but so is activity.
