Its all about depth.

Once the big three are out.. most teams in the NBA have the advantage.

Ive said it all year.

The Heat team from when they won their 1st, and only, title was not playing against these Cetlics & Lakers teams. They are the best of now, not far off is the Spurs & Bulls.

Granted, even if Wade & James catch fire...they still need bench production. The old cli'che that you need a great defense & good bench scoring really comes into play here.

Miami's bench in the last 3 games alone has scored a total of 18pts. Gerald Wallace alone off the bench last night had 22pts of the Blazers 41 bench points.

It can be argued again & again that they COULD beat every team if they get hot, but we're talking about 2 guys here (forget Bosh, ok). Look at any team to win an NBA title. They have all had a couple stars, great defense & efficient bench production.

Miami could win one in the future, but until they get the bench to assist the Big 2....I'm not gonna be one to hand them any more over appreciated credit for something they are not quite near.....and that is Team Basketball.

Best of luck to them, cause they need it.

i agree. Especially when you look at the knick's big 3. At least miami's 3 can play defense with the 2 most athletic, savy players out there. The knicks have a coach that doesn't play defense, and a team that doesn't play defense. They have no depth, and once their big 3 start missing shots, the knicks look ugly.
