All this stemmed from me saying that last year I could tell Fields was going to be good - as in after I saw him play.

Sure, pre-draft, I was skeptical. And I was wrong.


But to get to the nitty gritty of it, Bearly wanted to win an internet pissing contest, and a group of guys who are the farthest thing from impartial basically would rather make this a MJY bashing forum than a Bears talk forum. They're obsessed.

I mean, and here we are again because Spitta found his tribe of feckless hobos to welcome him into their fold - birds of a feather.

I don't follow much college ball, but the way everyone in Chicago has hyped up every QB since I was a fan as the "next great Bears savior" coming out of the draft, I'll be man enough to admit I flat grew skeptical of EVERYONE. I mean, the Orton vs Grossman wars when both were ass, people thinking Byron Leftwich was going to be a thing, and on and on it goes.

I've seen enough NFL to know I flat don't give a **** about what a player did in college at the QB position. Some of the best college players look like ASS in the NFL. For every college fan who says "I COULD HAVE TOLD YA HE'D BE GREAT - YER DUMB!!" - they don't tell you they were like that about the last 10 QBs who they also cheered for who sucked ASS in the NFL.

And sure, some of the Fields hate prior to him being drafted was me straight trolling, because I am a college QB nihilist - prove it on the NFL level before I give a shit about you.

So when the Bears drafted Fields, I was like "well, this is the one we got - lets see what he DOES now."

All this shit about what I said before Fields was drafted... put up what I said when Fields started to PLAY.

Once I saw the skills he had at an NFL level, I've been as consistent as the day is long.

And poor flopping bandwagon-jumping hoboes like @Spitta Andretti can't fucking handle it - he's better off co-mingling with the rest of the low-iq man-children, flinging shit and howling like apes.
