You look at the type of QB prospect that Josh Allen was coming into the draft and it's similar to Trubisky. He might see an opportunity to benefit from the coaching staff in the same way that Allen has...similar to how Winston took a backup job last year to tutor with Payton behind Brees.
Josh Allen went through a very detail process to change his footing that dramatically improved his accuracy. If he can get Trubisky to try it might change his career too. I wish him the best. No one tried harder than he did. He gave the Bears his all for 4 years.

I’m still amazed how little Mitch signed for with Buffalo! It’s back up Punter money.

I question Pace in how Dalton is worth 5X the salary.

Im just having fun at Mitch's expense that he couldn't even get a job as the QB competition. Maybe its the truth. Maybe its not. But it does sound like an odd sales pitch.
I believe but I have faith that Mitch continues to not be the sharpest pencil in the box. The same reason a not especially smart or composed Dalton is a better choice. Dumb is still better than dumber and more tentative, regardless of their passer ratings.

That said and joking aside, I think it's a great spot for Mitch. He's behind a QB with similar attributes that doesn't read especially well and takes too many risks, that he manages to make pay off. Mitch will be plug and play if needed and stops turtling. He'll also get the same coaching that fixed a guy that looked a lot like him his 1st 2 years though it likely won't help much. I couldn't think of a better place for him to try and get his shit together.

Good God, you can't even pass, without comment, a little joke mentioning Mitch, because somehow me insinuating he has at least only assaulted your feeble Mitch hating mind and not 24 women is a compliment of Mitch.

Hint, the comment wasn't pro Mitch, actually his assault on you is due to his poor play as a Bear, but even his mere mention gets you aroused like Deshaun Watson walking past a massage parlor, or nail salon, or a woman with hands.

Fuck dude let it go, he's gone. He's a Bill. He can't hurt you anymore unless you let him.

Allen has an absolute cannon of an arm. Mitch throws flutter balls. Mitch needs a lot of work. If Buffalo can do it, good for them. I think Buffalo got cheap backup QB that keep things afloat if their starter FRANCHISE QB gets hurt. Otherwise Mitch will be playing with scout team. That's his value.

Wow he couldn’t even compete lol? Drew Lock is not better than Mitch..

You aren't wrong but Lock may develop. Mitch has shown he cannot develop any more. He has now even shown he believes it his OWN SELF:

Backup to Josh Allen says "I know my role is clipboard holding".

I'd pick Lock over Mitch too - only because Lock still has a chance to show he could still become a little more

so that’s my point, you are the one who’s butt hurt and bringing Deshaun’s off field issues into a thread about Mitch’s terrible play. It’s always the same old what-about-ism too with you.

Im still kind of skeptical on the Allen thing. He looked fantastic last season and he cut out a lot of the really dumb plays he made the previous year. But he also took that step you want to see from 3rd year QBs. Im not sure if thats Allen, coaching, a mix or both or what. I always want to see it in consecutive years before i give too much credit to someone.

It seems like an ideal fit for him from a development standpoint but will it translate to anything? i doubt it.

He's a known Trubisexual. Best to ignore, imo.
