For nearly 2 decades now I've expressed opnions and analysis. Obviously, not all of it has been agreed upon. Yet until I began to voice them on this forum I've never been accused of drug use, mental problems, taking crazy pills or mental retardation.

I'm none of those Hou! Why does it have to be serious mental problems (just because it was something you didn't agree with)? Why can't it just be "Wow, I don't agree with that at all?" as I extend with courtesy to you whenever I or anyone else happens to disagree with you.

It's all good but I was just wondering that dude. Let's show some love.

I have yet to hear one reasons why Kirk Hinrich wouldn't make a great coach.

I defy you to give me one reason why.

Let's hear it.

I just assume you have lost your damn mind to seriously suggest this crap. It is a good coherent conversation then you suggest Kirk Hinrich as a player/coach? When is the last time the league has had a player/coach anyway? "Wow, I don't agree with that at all?" doesn't do that justice. I said that with the Wilt is better than Jordan arguments. But this?

I assumed that you were not serious. I gave you the benefit of the doubt...oh well, if you say stupid s--- with no rationale, and this has absolutely NO rationale whatsoever, that is my point, you start a conversation, and then bombard it with a statement that is absolutely bonkers.

FBS, you get nothing but grief here. But I agree, I think down the line Kirk would have a decent career coaching. He is headsy, feisty and doesn't look to be out of position ever. I don't see why he wouldn't make a decent coach, plenty of former pg's with similar abilities have done it. Just don't make him a shooting coach.

I don't know, listening to Kirk in interviews he doesn't sound like a coach. Despite being Captain Feisty he doesn't seem like the guy who would get a team fired up to play.

MJ gave great interviews and was vocal and he hasn't had much success in a management role. Its not exactly the same as coaching but there are non vocal guys who do well at coaching. Phil Jackson isn't a loud guy.

oh boy...

I never said Hinrich wouldn't make a decent coach. A player/coach? In case nobody has paid attention, the Bulls are trying to set themselves up to win a championship. And why is it the white guy on the team is now mentioned as a potential head coaching candidate?

We just had a guy who can't coach running the team the last two years. Give me a break...

I think Avery Johnson overall would be a good fit but talk is he doesnt want to come here with all the management problems that are going on. Im not big on Byron Scott though. I could see him helping D Rose but other than that he is too offensive minded and overall I'd rather have a coach that is 50-50 and not just all defense or all offensive(like alot of west teams are)

I'd guess it's because he's a point guard. People always suggest point guards will be coaches.

IMO if anyone is going to be coaching us it wouldnt be kirk hinrich now of course. Wouldnt mind some Lindsey Hunter lol jk. He is a smart guy though and probably wouldnt be that bad with some team down the road someday if he really wanted to do that kind of thing I think.

I GET NO RESPECT! Houhefna thinks I'm mental man.

(Girls dancing, singing in background of me - "No Respect! No Respect!")

He doesn't think Kirk can coach the Bulls.

"No respect! No respect! It's just...rapping Frankie...Frankie Breakfast...Sandwich!"

Oh! I don't get no respect at all!

Give me Doc Rivers any day of the week. Scott is not bad either, but he's extremely demanding & we all know what happened to the last demanding coach we had. Doc Rivers is my man.

As for Kirk as a player/coach, do I really need to say anything other than HEEEEEEELL NOOOOOOO!? He may be a decent coach when his career is over (remember his dad is a HS bball coach so it's in his blood) but not while he's still playing & not for this team.

Frank, you've got mental problems man....man. :cheer:

P.S. Nice Rappin' Rodney reference.
