For anyone who thought Columbus would be a seller better think again. They won again tonight and
actually outshot someone. They're starting to believe. They've only played 12 road games so far
but from what I saw when they were at the UC, they can be a load even on the road.

Anaheim got their asses handed to them tonight. Funny how after a team throws everything but
the kitchen sink at the Hawks, they suddenly head downhill.

Unbelievable stat of the week.....Martin Brodeur has scored 3 goals in his career. There have been
some skaters who havent had that many. Although this last one was pretty shabby.

Question of the Day.....does anyone have an assist on any of his 3 goals?

lol. That was an odd goal. Very fluky. Id like to see how many times this has happened in the past....and Im not even talking about MB, more or less going on the PP pulling the goalie and still giving up a goal.

Other than Jordan Staal on the most recent one?

I'd guess no.

Wait a second. I didnt see the boxscore but how the hell can an assist be had when the other team scores
on its own net with the last man from the other team to touch the puck getting the goal? Those goals are
always unassisted.

That wasn't serious. Staal was just the one whose errant pass ended up in the net.

1. Pens are probably the favorites as of now to win the Cup.

2. Why would the Sharks trade a Dman away for picks? Dont they want to try to win? They got worse for the short term but maybe the brass doesnt feel this team can win the cup.

They didn't traded a good Dman, if that's any consolation for them.

Clowe was a healthy scratch tonight. Looks like he is as good as gone and the Sharks are trying to get him to go to an Eastern Conference team.
