Without involving Carmelo Anthony, because its not going to happen. I want to hear a realistic plan on how we acquire another superstar. Dwight Howard is likely another one that just isn't realistic.
So for those with ideas, lets here them? The Bulls must find a way to dump Boozer in the process.

On the bright side if the Bulls don't amnesty Boozer in the summer we can wait 3 long years until Boozer's contract ends and bring the next Dirk Nikola Mirotic to the Bulls.

Step 3: Find young guys near all star level whose teams are not supporting them right

Sign Ilyasova and Kirilenko and wait for DRose.
If you fail in step 5:
Step 6: Pray to god DRose will come back the same player and try to get a solid PG who have no problem being on the bench when DRose is back.

I foresee two options for this team
1) Blow it up: Keep Derrick Rose out the entire 2012-13 season. Make Luol Deng have his wrist surgery. Decide that he has it in November. Amnesty Carlos Boozer, do not pick up options on Watson and Asik. The team is now Joakim Noah-Taj Gibson-Ronnie Brewer-Richard Hamilton-John Lucas
We tank the season away. We are guaranteed a top 4 pick if we are worst in the league. Say we get lucky and win the #1 pick, we now have a huge position filled.
2) Don't blow it up. Do everything in your power to acquire another Superstar. Obviously as always, Dwight Howard would be the most ideal candidate here. Trading Noah and Boozer, and whatever the hell else the Magic want except Deng would be awesome. If they will not settle for anything less than Deng, then trade Deng and take back something from Orlando. Then acquire a band-aid solution at PG..like Steve Nash and try your hopes that way. Then if Derrick is ready by Spring, bring him back into the rotation. If Steve Nash just wants a title, he'll play any role. Of course he can be a starter all year round in Miami, so of course I see him going there before us. But there are other point guards who could be available.

There is no superstar that is a realistic grab for us. The closest thing would be one of the up-and-comers deciding that they don't like their market, but want to win now.
Tyreke Evans could demand a trade next season.
Antawn Jamison and Chris Kaman could ring chase for a bench role.
Nash, Kidd, Felton, Billups, Hinrich, and Udrih's destinations are anyone's guess.
Iguodala has been back and fourth on trade demands for the last 2.5 seasons.
There really isn't much movement going on. We have to wait and see which team starts a fire-sale first, to set off the league-wide domino effect.

Dwight has had an incredible set of talent around him in Orlando for being a team running off one all-star. I'm sorry, he's a cancer. Short of a Phil Jackson-like coach that can get in his head, he's going to do a lot more organizational damage, than help anyone win.
