Richardson is pretty good, does any of you think he's better than Barnes though?

I don't see QRich playing the 3, as much as he'll backup Vince. This has to be their solution for Redick.

Mind you, slim pickins for SGs.

If its not Smit and McGraw lobbying for Joe Johnson, its Nick Friedell lobbying for Matt Barnes. I wish the local sports writers wouldnt do this.

Yep. We're going to have major chemistry issues if we bring in all of this depth, but have no role for players. At this point, team needs have to be addressed before those small upgrades.

As much as I agree with what you're saying about writers manipulating, I can't fault the writers. We, the fans, are doing the same things LOL.

Well theres a little bit if a difference between those reading our thoughts on a message board and the exposure of people like KC Johnson, Sam Smith, and Mike McGraw.

The other thing is that we're not pinned down to not being unbiased. When these guys let their own personal preference bleed into their work, it can sometimes be confused with what theyre reporting. Most of us dont claim to have access to people in the front office, whereas, McGraw, Smith, and Johnson often do.

Oh yeah, I agree. Just saying, I can't fault them for doing it, when I would do the same thing in their position.

I really don't understand how getting Rip makes us better. I would rather just have Deng. But if it's for purposes of getting an expiring contract at the end of the year it's something to consider. I just don't think he is the way to go.

What's the purpose of getting an expiring contract now? So we can pretend we have a shot at Melo next off-season? Just keep Deng if it's between him or Rip.

I agree with you. I'd rather have Deng than Rip and I don't think we have a chance in hell at Melo. I don't know any of the other FAs next year though so without doing that research it's something to consider, but my final decision would probably be just to keep Deng. He may have a bloated contract, but unless we are getting something of substantial value, we are better off just holding onto our above average player.
