Bosh>>>>Noah.

If you can get Bosh and have to give up Noah you do it in a second.

Bosh really isn't a defensive kind of guy and Noah is. Also unless we have another Center under lock getting rid of one of our best players wouldn't be the best idea.

They would be dumb to trade Noah. The guy gets paid less than 3M. Id much rather them add Boozer and be able to keep a very productive and improving C for that price. Unless its guaranteed that LeBron comes with him, i wouldnt do it.

Ok? But Bosh is a better player than Noah overall. If you can get rid of one of your better players for an even better player you do it. You can always dig up bangers and rebounders from somewhere to help offset Noah's loss. Guys like Reggie Evans are still employed in the NBA. Bosh goes for 24-11. Those guys are unique special NBA players. Noah is a good/nice player but you can piece together some guys to replace what he gives you. Not so with Bosh.

Trading Noah would be risky as hell. They can't do it at this point. No satifactory trade for Noah is realistically going to pop up right now.

Ok, but you wouldn't have to. You could give Bosh the max, keep Noah and fill out the roster. So your last statement is pretty obvious. The only time you trade for Bosh is if you already have Wade or Lebron in house. Bosh is option 1c of those guys.

If you have Lebron/Wade on board and can get Bosh in a deal that involves Noah then you do it.

FirstTimer, what specific trade are we talking about here?

One that would bring Bosh to the Bulls once we already have Wade or Lebron or trading Bosh when Lebron or Wade says landing Bosh promises them to us.

Trading Bosh, just to get Bosh and Bosh alone makes no sense.

First Timer, would you rather sign Lebron and trade Noah for Bosh, OR keep Noah, and just sign James and Boozer.

Rose
Bron
Deng
Bosh
?

Gibson
?

VS

Rose
Bron
Deng
Boozer
Noah

Gibson
Johnson
?

Defineltly interesting. Depends what else you can find to fill in the roster. Gut instinct says the James/Boozer combo looks better as the roster seems more full but it ignores two tothree major factors. 1. Who else can we sign/who did we give up for him and 2. Would James want to pay with Boozer?

In the end I'd lean towards getting Bosh and Lebron and being willing to risk trying to fill in the rest.

This whole 30M thing seems to be the only thing Ric can ever talk about. Yes overall its 30M extra but its not nearly that much when you consider it yearly. Its not like Wade or Bosh wont be playing after 5 years. The 6th year of the contract is what really makes the difference.

Talk to Lou "average game" Deng and try to convince he to give us some money back

Deng can't give money back, NBA players restructuring contracts is unheard of.

AlexKennedyNBA

Source close to situation says that Chicago is starting to plan for life without LeBron by zeroing in on Carlos Boozer and J.J. Redick.

We're saved lol
