He's faced the Orioles & Tigers a combined 4 times plus the Tribe.

Do this vs a team like the Yankees, Twins, Red Sox then i'll get excited.

Hudson is alot cheaper & has done just as well.

Considering the guy is a FA after next season & has Borass as his agent.

D-Backs are thrilled if Jackson walks as a FA while they have Hudson.

also who did he face in the NL? wait did I say NL? those are some power houses over there in the nl west. what was his ERA there? it is obvious they saw something, in his delivery or tippin pitches.

when we got him I was one who was praying and saying we should not trade him for Dunn straight up or otherwise and I'm very glad we didn't

I was hoping we would trade him for Dunn, but after reading the organizations comments about the issue, I felt that if we kept him it would be okay.

I was among the ones who didnt like getting him but took the attitude of "we got him I hope hes good" and so far hes been solid ... Lets hope he continues to be solid. the thing that scares me is that whenever a player goes from bad to good suddenly he will at some point regress to being bad again.

if peavy comes back healthy and that is a big if, i think jackson in the rotation is fine.
