They've swung and missed on about 10 college coaches so they try to save face by offering the hometown guy Flip Saunders the job and now he doesn't want it. I think he would've taken it had they offered him the job first. No telling who they're gonna settle for now.

The big target now is Andy Enfield. However, USC is also pursuing him. I don't think he lands at UMN if he even leaves. I remember reading he was a Wall Street guy whose firm was worth over $100 million so I don't know if a raise will get him to leave. He only made $157,000 so a $1.5 million should spark some interest.
