I've always been under the impression that getting top dollars wasn't the most important thing for Buehrle. I could be wrong, and I rarely believe that guys will take significantly less to play for one team over another. But it would seem to make a lot of sense. That said I wouldn't mind him moving just a little farther north...

He will either be with Chicago because he has played here his whole career and loves the city, or he will be with St. Louis because that's where his home is. Both of those teams want him and he wants to be with both of those teams.
