He has/had his workout today with the team then he is reportedly to have lunch with Thibs to discuss his potential role with the team. The I would guess if that all goes as planned he will be signed.

I'm really liking this team! This off-season has been a roller coaster ride.

in a serious line-up, I expect (minutes in parenthesis):

C-- Noah (30), Thomas (13), Asik (?)
PF- Boozer (33), Gibson (20)
SF- Deng (30), McGrady (20), Johnson (?)
SG- Brewer (25) , Korver (13)
PG- Rose (38), Watson (18)

I think Luol Deng needs his minutes trimmed down. He has shown that playing 36-40 mpg every night takes too much of a toll on his body over the course of the season. I see T-Mac as a guy who who primarily play with the 2nd unit as a point forward. I don't think he has much leverage as a 2 guard in the league anymore because he lacks the explosiveness he once had. Therefore, I see Ronnie Brewer on the floor at the other wing spot more than I foresee them putting Kyle Korver out there with him.

I see Deng's minutes being trimmed also. Having guys like Korver & even McGrady will drop his minutes down some games.

I think he would be a steal to be honest. Even though there is a lot of doubts about many things with him he's still T-Mac he will always have great talent, and adding that to the bench is great!!
