There's a reason Sean Payton retired.

Is there any possible way for these two teams to fix the cap mess they have?
I mean really and don't just say defer money to the future and add void years.
I hope this is as bad as it looks especially for the Pack, they need to unload half the team
and if Erin stays that will make him really happy!!
In looking at the Saints I can see why Sean left.
The cap hit for several guys on both teams is unreal.
Good luck to both, not really.
Both the Packers and Saints are going for the glory one more time. In the Packers case it makes perfect sense if Rodgers returns since they have been the best regular season team in the NFC the last three years. The Saints though are a different story. Even if Winston comes back and is healthy are they even a contender?

New Orlean just max restructured M Thomas and Ramczyk.

I was playing the other day with their cap and alondg with those 2 they would have to max restructure their next top 5 salaries just to have close to enough to sign a draft class, not sign a single FA and then go into the season with Hill, Bortles, and Book as their QB room. On top of that, they would have near nothing in cap space next season and that is with just 37 guys under contract.

Is it any wonder Pace was a salary cap idiot savant without the savant part.

Surprised that Packers haven’t cut Cobb yet. I imagine they are waiting on a commitment from Rodgers first and then they will saying they had no choice.

Yes this was the original point of my thread, they're screwed and I think the Pack as well.

I could see the Saints contending for their division. Beyond that I struggle to see it.

But once you are in the playoffs, just need a bit of luck and anything can happen.
