United States of Leyland is supposed to be really good. Rask is right.
Actually, Gosling isn't terrible in that. The material is though, and his performance is a bit of a struggle because of it. The writing is uneven, but I can see the popularity, due to the story's moral ambiguity. It is an uneven film, with some quite good scenes and a lot of bad, and quite frankly, unnecessary scenes to get to the conclusion, which really leaves one empty and a bit annoyed at having given it all that time.
