Their numbers took a nose dive relying on hot garbage.

Stop being addicted to what they did before the Lester deal.

Get your head outta the sand.

I don't want any team from the AL Central to even make it to the World Series. I'm rooting against the Tigers and Royals.

Because they're our rivals? I don't want shitty Detroit fans (who also include Lions, Wings, and Pistons fans) to be happy, I don't want them to get the additional revenue, I don't want them to be successful. And because I fucking hate them.

It was fun hoping they would get the division over Detroit, because **** Detroit. But I cannot, nor will not, root for a team in the AL Central, other than the Sox (LOL), in the playoffs.

Okay. Go luck up their hitting with Cespedes and then after he was traded. There is a stark difference. You've had a rough night with your logic.

Billy Beane outsmarted himself. As hit or miss(pun intended) as Cespedes was, he was a legit threat. Donaldson missed him and they really did not have another legit hitter other than those two. Remember money ball was all of the rage, and Beane was this fucking genius? Look at that team now. Look at their so-called "key" measurables. I didn't buy his shit then and I don't buy it now. The success of the A's is due to their farm system and development of young pitching not some magic formula of Billy Beane and his "stats".

The A's, and Beane, use his stats when they draft players. So...I guess it works?

If any trade came back to bite the A's in the ass was the trade for Samardzija, and Hammel. Shark pitched well, but Hammel was terrible.

I think people over estimate Cespedes as a player. He's good, but not great, and removing him isn't the reason the whole line-up went cold.

Yes it was. Perhaps not physically but mentally. Many of the A's players were upset that Cespedes was traded. Take that however you will but it was the predominant reason why the A's hit like shit down the stretch.
