Peg Legs career is over. He was drafted because he ran a 4.3. He'll never run a 4.3 again. With out that top end speed, he's just another guy. Sucks for us.

This year is the final test. I have not given up. He can still be a very good player. I don't see superstar or 7th pick quality but if he can be solid for the next 8 years it's a win.

I would have taken Beasley as well but White after that and he has done nothing but everything he can to get back. Hopefully he can be 100% for camp and get his body ready for contact this year.

man, i loved the pick, and was even advocating taking him at 7 with marshal on the team. but after 2 leg injuries in two seasons and having never even gotten to see the field enough to develop past the rookie stage, i just find it hard to remain optimistic.

I agree and the few games that we did see him play he didn't exactly light it up, either. I am hopeful and I hate to call an injury hampered player a bust but if he doesn't have a break out year then I think you have to call it what it is......
