I have told this story before of how Eric Clapton heard the Band's record "Big Pink" and decided he no longer wanted to be a rock virtuoso and join The Band. Here is him telling the story

I liked some of the stuff Baker did with Bill Frisell and Charlie Haden, but it was a bit too similar to what Frisell did prior with Power Tools. Except this track, which is the closest they came to a Cream sound. Not close enough though.
