Sure. But sometimes, owners die and their kids sell off the damn team. But, seriously, having a President like Phillips for so many years of horseshit performance is pathetic. I kept hoping for a Rocky Wirtz type Blackhawk AWAKENING but all we get is the same below average management and coaching re-runs. Now it is Pace and Fox being sold as the answe. Neither of those guys have done shit to be excited about. Just two shleps drawing pay checks from a family owned and operated business that is programmed to earn money not by having a successful product but rather because their Papa Bear was one of the founders of the entire NFL and the brand loyalty of the BEars is stuck in the DNA of the citizens of
CHicago. TOo bad old Papa Bear didn't have a better stronger sperm count to produce children that could run his franchise.
I get what you are saying, Hawk. But I really like what pace/fox bring. It makes me feel a lot better knowing Ernie had a big voice in hiring Pace, that he helped guide the interview process and decide on who to hire. The idea of Phillips even being in the room at the announcement of trest/Emery firings pissed me off to know end(and others too), but it is what it is. Who knows why george lets this asshat have a slide since 1999. It's ridiculous.

But nonetheless, from what I gathered t Phillips will have NOTHING to do with what goes on in the football aspect of the Bears. I truly hope so, because just the fact that that moron was in the room when K White came to meet pace made furious. It is what it is, but I like pace and I've always been a fan of Fox.

So let's see how it goes.

I thought the team got better since 1999 but I am particular. Ted's a non-entity to me, although I would think our team should be better than 8th in revenue in the NFL under an accountant president in this market

Bro do you even have any friends IRL, you must have a pretty sad life if you are saving quotes of some dude on a messageboard. I bet you are some overweight bro who has never played an organized sport in his life.

Back on topic, Sweaty Teddy annoys me to know end....amirite

Actually, from what i can gather, desperado is actually a pretty fit dude and has some pretty mean guns. He's pretty handsome too. He might have an opinion that's pretty Special person like a lot of the time, or maybe sometimes it's just how he makes his case, but despberado is aight in my book. You didn't have to call him a fucking Special person. also, pretty sure he's actually slayed some tens unlike most of you guys.

And from what I can gather, everybody he knows happens to know some famous sports celebrity. Also what I can gather from him is Cutler is the best QB in the NFL and Weems is the best return man in the history of the NFL!

So in other words, what anybody should be able to gather from him is that he's a complete meathead.
