He'd probably start over Thompson. Obviously he would not start over Love, but Love is injured

Don't know thompson seems to be in beast mode. Or maybe the bulls just suck? Either way at this point i would take thompson over any of our big men. He will get a max in few years. A player I think the bulls should be targeting if they have the money.

Thompson is a free agent this summer

Thompson is really unspectacular outside of rebounding. He looks great against us probably because we suck. He's a rebounder and nothing else really.

time to rebuild this team...gasol is the only one with a post up game which is pretty sad...noah, hinrich and gibson need to be sent packing...gibsons problem is that he always brings the ball back down low allowing defenders to slap it away or block his shots...resign butler to max deal...the problem is adding big men with offensive skill...monroe is a guy that might make sense...he can post up and pass but has a very limited jumper.

I think Gibsons main problem is health. He's been playing hurt....again. His ankles are made of tissue paper.

Yeah, Atlanta/Washington will remove his game completely.

all the more reason to move him, hes not getting any younger, this team has to get rebuilt with a post game..

get aldridge but signing him to anything longer than a 3-4yr deal would be very risky.
If the bulls were to somehow land aldridge a lineup of rose, snell, butler, aldridge and monroe would be awesome...
a fantasy!! but awesome with gasol, mcdermott and niko coming off the bench.

or more realistically getting monroe only giving the bulls a lineup of
rose, snell, butler, gasol and monroe with mcdermott and niko off the bench.

Irving has looked better than Rose with only 1 wheel. This team is really missing Gasol, who can also finish at the rim for whomever said only Rose and Taj.

Edit: This team really needs to be rid of Rose at this point, unless his game picks up, but what good is a 6'3" guard who can't hit a jumper?

you get rid of him if you can get value. Not garbage contracts. if you can get a good player and sign rondo i think that would work.

no he hasn't...maybe last night after rose first quarter but not all series

And as we both know, Irving has been injured all series. How bad would Rose be if it was all series, not just a game here or there. Rose is to up and down right now. Maybe with time it will change for him, but 2 years away and now very up and down game. Some nights he has it, some nights he can't hit the broad side of McCormick Place standing 2 feet away.

Fire everyone, starting at the top. Then trade everyone for pennies on the dollar (if anyone will even take our scrub ass players). Then maybe, just MAYBE, we'll be good enough to beat king noheadband.

I know you are being sarcastic, but something has to be done. This isn't just a knee jerk reaction. The team as constructed with this coach will not be able to win a ring. Enjoy this quote from Einstein

"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"

I agree and I think most of us knew that Taj time with the team was coming to an end. With Mirotic needing more playing time and Jimmys cap number increasing, it only makes sense to get rid of him.

The ugly truth we all need to realize is that the Bulls are the 1991-1998 Knicks, and we keep getting our hearts broken by the best player in the game.

That is the ugly truth.

Well at least those 90s Knicks to the Bulls to the limit. We usually lose to LeBron in a ho-hum 5 game series
