Bears sign WR Michael Crabtree to 3 years 12 million/9 guaranteed

Raiders said they don't play on resigning soon to be 31 year old Crabtree while Crabtree may look at top tier playoff teams money may change his mind.

Bears sign CB Kenneth Acker to 1 year 3.5 million

Started 13 games as a rookie for the 49ers before being traded to the Chiefs. He could help in the slot and on special teams.

Bears sign OLB Ezekiel Ansah to 4 years 40.5 million/21.5 guaranteed

Ansah will be 29 years old next season and has regressed a lot from injuries but is still a valuable player when healthy. Ezekiel Ansah played all over the place at BYU however, most of his snaps went to playing as a 3-4 defensive end.

Bears sign OLB Jeremiah Attaochu to 2 years 12 million/5 guaranteed

Since Chargers brought in Gus Bradley and changed to a 4-3 defense he just doesn't fit in. He's 24 years old and had 6 sacks in 2015 as a pass rusher.

Bears sign ILB NaVorro Bowman to 3 years 12 million/6 guaranteed

Jerrell Freeman will be gone next season and 29 year old Bowman takes his place. He can offer a lot of wisdom down to younger players.

Bears sign OT LaAdrian Waddle to 3 years 21 million/7.5 guaranteed

Bears need an upgrade at tackle but at least in the short term we can build some competition and depth.

Bears sign TE Troy Niklas to 3 years 18 million/6 guaranteed

Replacing Dion Sims for what Dion Sims should be doing in this offense.

Bears sign QB Tyler Bray to 1 year 1 million

Bray can help Trubisky understand Matt Nagy's system.

Draft

Round 1 - Calvin Ridley WR

Bears shouldn't overpay in this WR market none of these guys are worth top tier money or getting into a bidding war for.

USATSI_9800134-718x490.jpg

Round 2 - Sam Hubbard OLB

He's had good moments where he looks like he could be the number one OLB but he just hasn't been consistent enough.

Round 4 - Frank Ragnow G/C

Ragnow suffered a season ending injury to his ankle and may drop in the draft because of it.

Round 4 - Lowell Lotulelei NT

Eddie Goldman's Backup.

Round 5 - T.J. Edwards ILB

He has had four interceptions this season and shown he can play well in the passing game something our ILB lack.

Flip won't be the OC. Look for Ragone to get the OC/QB coach title

i think it's a bit unrealistic. But If that were to happen The bears would instantly become a playoff contender.

I stop reading every one of these by you because you keep releasing DT Mitch Unrien and then re-signing him as a DE

Ridley is pretty damn fast. I'd imagine he'd run sub 4.42 - 4.48.

Thanks, I don't know what he is smoking.

I'd be intrigued at Doug Ragone at OC or someone from his staff.

I like the strategy where the Bears get all the free agents for millions less than other teams would pay them.

Who am I underpaying? I feel like I am overpaying.

Crabtree will be 31 years old.

Ansah will be 29 years old and is beat up.

Jeremiah Attaochu at 6 mil a year in generous.

NaVorro Bowman will be 30 years old after a gruesome leg injury.

I'm not a big fan of wide receiver in the first round I'd rather draft the right tackle of the future but I don't think we should over pay these bums in free agency. Paul Richardson probably won't amount to much.

Michael Gallup will be on the practice squad.
Kevin White will be on IR.
Calvin Ridley might not start much his rookie year.
