I hope Jimmy plays Thursday, but wont' be surprised if he doesn't and misses the All-Star Game as well.

sure wouldn't hurt to have Gerald green right about now for extra wing depth :smug2:

Nah, apparently Tony Snell is now Ray Allen with his shooting stroke and Thibs will just play him 40 minutes instead.

Jimmy should rest. Strains are like almost tears waiting to be damaged even more, and the Bulls would be stupid to risk him getting hurt BEFORE a HUGE break!

even with snell playing well, having green would still help the team

Who is the Hawks 5th man?

If the East wasn't so guard heavy, I think Kemba Walker is the next deserving guy.

Demarre Carroll? lol

Walker or Knight seem like popular choices

Well having a guy that good be your 5th(?) wing option, sure.

Gerald green is a better player than snell is still...and who are the others better than green in your opinion?

I'd say only Jimmy is better than Gerald Green. But even if we had Green, he'd just be doing what Tony Snell is doing.

that's where I would rank him as well. so if he would come in and be our 2nd best wing player, then you must agree itd make sense to go get him right? and he would be starting right now with jimmy out hurt and would still be a nice upgrade over snell in the backup role when jimmy gets back

Perhaps. But for all we know, this stretch is what Snell needs to vault his play onto Green's level.
