''Hey, I know you are pumping her stinker now, but uhhh, I was curious if you were smashing it during the time I was her fake boyfriend.''
dude, I don't judge you and your second life gaming experience. I'm sure they are beautiful in real life too. I'm glad for you!! Truly!

Why yes, you did get a great deal on that car! The extra $1200 for the official Mini windshield replacement warranty was a smart move!

Just curious, maybe being warped over the years from working at a gym since 17 and seeing wife's screw round with personal trainers then come in with husbands and kids in evening.. Or a wife screwing round on a husband battling cancer..

Sincere question, are their questions you still ask of the partner you chose? Was anyone ever pressured into marriage and settled for it?

Things men never say to women, but some of which I've heard.

1. Don't get married

2. Everyone regrets something, and 60% regret marriage.

3. It's a scam.

4. It's a lie.

5. Watch revolutionary road.

Sorry, but bein serious actually

Didn't want to head this direction, but since you opened the door:

Many marriages(including my own parents)are created out of necessity. In other words, either one or both partners could never make it through life w/o the emotional and/or financial support of the other.

I wouldn't say mine was necessity, but Immigration/Emmigration in either direction would have been nigh-impossible without marriage.

I do think the biggest problems with marriage is that (a) either or both parties have no clue what they're getting into and (b) either or both parties are not willing to do what it takes for a marriage to succeed. If your point in life is that you *don't* want to be mentally, physically, psychologically, spiritually, or financially responsible for anyone else, much less that other person, then simply don't get married and tell all of the friends, relatives, and cow-irkers peer-pressuring you into it to violate themselves on the nearest fire hydrant.
